These terms explain the rules for using the BlueConnect Fun app and the blueconnect.ae website. Please read them before you create an account.
1. About these terms
BlueConnect ("BlueConnect", "we", "us" or "our") operates the BlueConnect Fun mobile app and the website blueconnect.ae (together, the "Service").
When you create an account or use the Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must have a valid mobile phone number that you own or are allowed to use.
You must be allowed to use the Service under the laws that apply to you.
You must not use the Service if we have suspended or removed your account before.
4. Your account
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time verification code (OTP). You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.
Give true and current information, including your name and phone number.
Do not share your verification codes with anyone. BlueConnect staff will never ask for them.
Do not create accounts for other people, fake accounts or more than one personal account.
Tell us at once at support@blueconnect.ae if you think someone else has access to your account.
5. Your content
You can post photos, videos, comments, reviews and live streams ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content.
You give BlueConnect a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example, resize or compress) and distribute Your Content so that we can run, improve and promote the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where other users have already shared it or where we must keep it by law.
You confirm that you own Your Content or have permission to post it, and that it does not break these terms or the law.
Post content that is illegal, sexual, violent, hateful, threatening or harassing.
Post any content that sexualises or endangers children. We report this to the authorities.
Pretend to be another person or organisation.
Post spam, scams, false information or unauthorised advertising.
Break the privacy, copyright or other rights of other people.
Cheat in games or prize draws, or use bots, scripts or several accounts to get an advantage.
Try to access, copy, reverse-engineer, overload or disrupt the Service or its systems.
7. Reports, moderation and enforcement
Anyone can report content or users in the app. Our team reviews reports and acts on content that breaks these terms, usually within 24 hours.
We may remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account, or cancel a prize if a user breaks these terms. Where the law requires it, we report illegal content to the authorities. If you think we made a mistake, email support@blueconnect.ae.
8. Campaigns, prize draws and rewards
Each campaign or prize draw has its own rules, dates, prizes and eligibility conditions. These are shown in the app. The campaign rules apply together with these terms.
Some draws are open only to people in a specific area. We may use your location to confirm eligibility.
We contact winners by the phone number on their account. If we cannot reach a winner or confirm eligibility within the time stated in the campaign rules, we may choose another winner.
We may announce a winner's display name and profile photo in the app.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash unless the campaign rules say so. Winners are responsible for any taxes or fees that apply to them.
Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not involved in, any campaign or prize draw.
9. Events, tickets and live streams
Events listed in the app may be run by BlueConnect or by partners. The organiser's terms apply to the event itself. Tickets are personal and you must not resell them unless the event rules allow it. Live streams can end or change without notice.
10. Games
Games in the app are for entertainment. Game points, coins or ranks have no cash value and you cannot transfer or sell them. We may reset or change them to keep games fair.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, the BlueConnect name, logos, design and software belong to BlueConnect or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, sell or modify the Service.
12. Third-party services and app stores
The Service uses services from other companies, for example Apple, Google, hosting providers and live streaming providers. Their terms may also apply.
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, you also agree that: these terms are between you and BlueConnect, not Apple; Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support for the app; Apple is not responsible for any claims about the app; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Changes and availability
We work to keep the Service available and safe, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We provide the Service "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, BlueConnect is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for loss of data or profits, or for content that other users post.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Ending your use of the Service
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if we must do so by law.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you continue to use the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The competent courts of the United Arab Emirates have jurisdiction over any dispute. If the English and Arabic versions of these terms differ, the English version applies.
